Hospital Sousa Martins, in Guarda, has decided to computerize its Outpatient Department with ALERT® OUTPATIENT. This decision allows for medical record integration between all Specialty Appointment services and the Emergency Department, which has been using ALERT® ER since April 2006. 

Alongside ALERT® OUTPATIENT, the following applications will also be implemented: ALERT® WAITING ROOM (for managing waiting lines); ALERT® PRESCRIPTION (for prescribing medication electronically); ALERT® SCHEDULING (for managing schedules); ALERT® ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD (for documenting health records electronically); and ALERT® OUTP/ADW (for data management and analysis).
