What type of computer do I need?

Hardware

 

Workstation requirements:

Dual Core Processor: 2.0 GHz;
Hard Drive: 80 GB;
RAM: 1 GB;
Network interface: 10/100/1000.

 

Software requirements:

Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 3, Microsoft Windows Vista or Microsoft Windows 7;
Internet Explorer 7, 8 or 9.

 

Wireless capacity:

Any normal wireless network with over 11 Mbps (802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, etc.).

 

 

Network

 

Private practices with over one user:

2 MB network plus 150 Kb per additional user.

 

Private practice (one user only):

2 MB.

 

According to recent studies, ALERT® software represents a consumption of 150Kbps of available bandwidth per User. This is an average value, which only represents ALERT® software consumption, and does not account for other existing software in use.
