On January 5, a migration from ALERT® ER to ALERT® EDIS was carried out at Lisboa Norte Hospital Complex (LNHC).

LNHC integrates two facilities: Santa Maria Hospital and Pulido Valente Hospital. During the migration between applications, which took place on the night between January 4 and 5, Santa Maria Hospital processed around 700 emergency episodes.

To make this migration possible, 500 professionals were trained, including physicians, nurses, ancillaries, registrars, case managers and technicians.

With this migration, LNHC will now have access to new ALERT® functionalities, such as drug-drug interactions, order sets, treatment protocols, the ability to change biometric data in the personal configurations area of each user, information transfer between different areas, timeline view of previous episodes, ALERT® TV, and other. ALERT® EDIS will also bring a relevant improvement in performance in relation to ALERT® ER.
