Jorge Guimarães, founder of ALERT, receives Medal of Honor from the Portuguese Business Association (AEP)

ALERT Life Sciences Computing, in the person of its founder and C.E.O., Jorge Guimarães, has just received another award. 


On May 9, for the occasion of the Portuguese Business Association's (AEP) 159th anniversary, during an official ceremony held at Europarque (congress center), in Vila da Feira (Portugal), Jorge Guimarães received the Medal of Honor from Ludgero Marques, the President of the aforementioned Portuguese association. 


This highly respected distinction within the Portuguese business context is usually awarded to entrepreneurs who have in any way contributed to the country's economic development.  


This year, 5 businessmen were granted this merit award: Carlos Martins, from MARTIFER, M. Jorge Guimarães, from ALERT, José Ribeiro, from CUTIPOL, Marcel de Botton, from LOGOPLASTE, and Paulo Pereira da Silva, from RENOVA.
