On January 9, 2013, ALERT® EDIS went live at the Emergency Department of the Pontifical Catholic University Hospital of Chile.

With this Go Live, the facility has now implemented the electronic health record of its patients and integrated ALERT® and the admission, lab, radiology, billing, infection control and Webreport systems.

Users, physicians and nurses received training so as to allow these professionals to explore the full potential of the ALERT® tool.

In the scope of this project, the ALERT® solutions will also computerize the Catholic University's Clinical Hospital, San Carlos de Apoquindo Medical Center, and the outpatient services of San Joaquín, San Jorge, Alcántara, Irarrázaval Medical Centers, as well as the Medical Specialty Center (Marcoleta) and Clínica Medical Center (Lira 85).

This Go Live is an important step for the SINAPSIS project of the Red Salud UC and reinforces ALERT's capacity to implement its system in world reference customers.
