Founder of ALERT awarded "Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year" by Ernst & Young

Jorge Guimarães, founder and chairman of ALERT Life Sciences Computing, S.A., was awarded the 2007 Ernst & Young Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year prize, last March 4. 


Organized for the second time in Portugal, this competition aims to identify outstanding national entrepreneurs and give them the international recognition they deserve, thus integrating them into a global network. 


The first prize of the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year was awarded to the brothers Carlos and Jorge Martins of Martifer.
