Grijó Pavilion in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, hosted the 12th "Cidade de Gaia" Open Table Tennis Tournament.
Distinguished by the Portuguese Federation of Table Tennis with a national classification of "A", the contest had the participation of around 300 beginner, infant and cadet ranking athletes.
The Chaves Table Tennis Club, which is sponsored by ALERT, was represented by its girls’ team, which included Alexandra Pisco, Daniela Moura, Inês Carneiro and Ana Caetano.
Alexandra Pisco achieved a 3 point advantage and became champion of the Gaia Tournament.
The team has done remarkably well regarding individual results: Alexandra Pisco won 1st place, Daniela Moura came 4th and Inês Carneiro achieved 10th place.
