ALERT went live in São Pedro Emergency Services in Minas Gerais

ALERT® EDIS, a software solution for emergency services, went live on October 6, 2010, in the São Pedro Emergency Services located in the city of Juiz de Fora of the state of Minas Gerais.

 

The São Pedro Emergency Services, inaugurated on May 27, 2010, is able to deal with 200 daily episodes. In this service, low and medium complexity procedures are performed. Among the available services, you have Internal Medicine and Pediatrics; X-ray, lab tests and electrocardiogram procedures are also performed, as well as small surgical interventions.

 

This service currently has 16 beds, 8 of which are for urgent and emergent episodes, and the remaining are for patients under observation. Three beds have ICU equipment that is appropriate for the stabilization of patients who arrive at São Pedro Emergency Services in critical condition.

 

This service has a team of 150 professionals, 30 of which are physicians. Other healthcare professionals include nursing assistants, social workers, pharmacists, nurse technicians and administrative assistants.

 

This Go Live is included in the implementation project of the Secretary of State for Health in the state of Minas Gerais.
