ALERT® went live at Doutor Antônio Faria Reis Emergency Services in Brazil

ALERT® EDIS, a software solution for emergency services, went live on October 26, 2010, in Doutor Antônio Faria Reis Emergency Services located in the city of Passos in the southeast of the Minas Gerais State.


This service has the capacity to process 400 appointments per day, which amounts to an average of 12 000 monthly episodes.


This Go Live involved the training of 354 professionals, including 107 physicians, 121 nurses, 35 registrars, 9 system administrators, 4 lab technicians, 49 imaging technicians, 27 triage professionals and 2 Manchester auditors.


The computerization of Doutor Antônio Faria Reis Emergency Services is part of the Minas Gerais Secretary of State for Health project to organize the state's emergency services.
