ALERT was a success in WoHIT, Barcelona

ALERT participated in the World of Health IT Conference & Exhibition in Barcelona, Spain, which took place between March 15-18, 2010.

The World of Health IT Conference & Exhibition, now in its fourth edition, is designed to connect leading health information and communication technology experts. The event consists of educational sessions, vendor exhibitions, new product launches, interoperability demonstrations, exchange of experiences, networking sessions, and other professional development opportunities.

WoHIT 2010 was for the first time held in conjunction with the European Union’s annual High Level eHealth Conference. The objective is to create the largest European high-level platform for stakeholders sharing the common goal of advancing eHealth in Europe.

ALERT’s booth received many visitors, including the Secretary of State for Health, Manuel Francisco Pizarro de Sampaio e Castro and the Vice President of the European Commission Commissioner for the Digital Agenda Economic growth, Neelie Kroes.

Several demonstrations were performed in different languages such as Spanish, French and English.
