On December 2, 2014, the ALERT® EDIS and ALERT® OUTPATIENT solutions were upgraded at the TEC Salud of Monterrey Group in Mexico.
ALERT®'s v220.127.116.11 was implemented at San José Hospital's emergency department and at Zambrano Hellion Hospital's outpatient services, which belong to that prestigious healthcare group. This version's new functionalities bring significant improvements to the professionals' duties.
ALERT® OUTPATIENT's new functionalities include simplified profiles, the introduction of the single page, improvements to medication (functionalities for new medication and integration with Vademecum), the shortcut button, improvements to the Viewer (physician notes, nursing notes, vital signs and other, information viewing filters, etc.), improvements to order sets, filters for various contents, the ability to change from one patient to another through the header's photo, the import of previous records, predefined templates, and many other.
Regarding ALERT® EDIS, apart from the abovementioned functionalities, the highlights for this version include a new column with the episode/patient's status as well as a patient identification button with specific details for the Mexican market.
Finally, there were improvements made to the following functionalities: Vital signs and other, Allergies, Nursing interventions (with preconfigured instructions - EDIS only) and the addition of new Body diagrams.
With multiple clinical specialties and professionals, the 11 institutes of the Zambrano Hellion Hospital process an average of 12 000 appointments per month. San José Hospital also offers a wide range of clinical specialties and its emergency services process a monthly average of 15 000 episodes.
