ALERT was successful at the IHE North America Connectathon 2011, which took place in Chicago in January, 17-21, 2011.

All ALERT® solutions that were taken to the Connectathon were certified:  ALERT® PAPER FREE HOSPITAL  (now with ALERT® PDMS), ALERT® PHR (MyALERT®), and ALERT® HIE (ALERT® XDS Registry, ALERT® XDS Repository, ALERT® PIX Manager, ALERT® XCA Gateway, and ALERT® XUA Layer).

The major achievements brought by this event were the first-time participation of ALERT(R) products in a new IHE Domain (Patient Care Devices with ALERT® PDMS) and the validation of the most recent IHE Integration Profiles, such as XDS-MU (Metadata Update) and XUA++ (Cross-Enterprise User Assertion).

About IHE
provides a detailed implementation and testing process to promote the adoption of standards-based interoperability by vendors and users of healthcare information systems. The process culminates in the Connectathon, which is a weeklong interoperability-testing event.
