ALERT® software received SBIS-CFM Certification, Brazil

In February 2014, v2.6 of ALERT® OUTPATIENT of ALERT Life Sciences Computing S.A., a multinational company represented in the Brazilian market by its subsidiary ALERT Serviços de Licenciamento de Sistemas de Informática para a Saúde Ltda., formally received the SBIS-CFM Certification, 2009 Edition in the NGS2 and Ambulatory categories.


Concluded in January 2014, the auditing process determined that the ALERT® OUTPATIENT module was in conformity with the mandatory requirements defined in the Certification Manual for S-RES – Sistemas de Registro Eletrônico em Saúde (electronic record systems in healthcare) in these categories: NGS2 – Nível de Garantia de Segurança 2 (Safety Guarantee Level 2) and Assistencial Ambulatorial (Ambulatory Assistance) in the following technology platform: Web architecture, Operating server’s system: Red Hat Linux 5, Operating station’s system: Windows 7, Navigator: Internet Explorer 9, and Database: Oracle 11gR2.


SBIS – Sociedade Brasileira de Informática em Saúde (Brazilian Association for Health Informatics) aims to promote the development of all aspects of information technology applied to healthcare. The SBIS-CFM Certification Process for S-RES was designed for systems that capture, store, present, convey and/or print healthcare information.
