ALERT® PRIVATE PRACTICE went Live at SouthEast Alaska Health Consortium (SEARHC) in USA

On July 14, 2010, ALERT® PRIVATE PRACTICE went Live at SEARHC’s Ethel Lund Medical Center located in Juneau, Alaska, USA.  

Ethel Lund Medical Center receives approximately 21 000 patient visits per year. The clinic provides the following services: Urgent Care, Specialty appointments for Family Medicine, Orthopedics, Rheumatology, General Surgery, Urology, Neurology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Hematology, Mental Health, Psychiatry, Public/Community Health and Dental, Physical Therapy, Complementary Medicine, Optometry and Nutrition appointments.  

ALERT’s on-site facilitators, which are staffing the facility, are currently assisting in the transition from a paper-based health record to an Electronic Health Record (EHR) by using ALERT® PRIVATE PRACTICE.  

SEARHC is a non-profit tribal health consortium of 18 Native communities which serves the health interests of the Tlingit, Haida, Tsimshian, and other Native people of SouthEast Alaska. It is one of the oldest and largest Native-run health organizations in the nation.  

ALERT® EDIS is already live in the Emergency Department at Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital located in Sitka, Alaska.
