ALERT present at the 3rd e-Learning Conference at Futurália – Entrepreneurship and Learning Technologies – Portugal

ALERT will participate in the 3rd e-Learning Conference at Futurália – Entrepreneurship and Learning Technologies – on March 18, 2011, in Parque das Nações, Lisbon, Portugal, with a presentation dedicated to "Teaching and learning solutions in Medicine".


This presentation will be delivered during the afternoon’s panel, which will be dedicated do "e-Learning and Entrepreneurship" and will focus on teaching and learning solutions in the healthcare context. The topics approached will include the conceptual vision and main functionalities of the following solutions:
•    ALERT® eLEARNING: Learning Management System (LMS) used for the training of healthcare professionals using ALERT® software
•    ALERT® STUDENT: an innovative tool for teachers and students of Medicine
•    ALERT® MOBILE: a solution that provides access to knowledge through mobile devices (smartphones)


The event will include a panel of national and international specialists in distance learning and education technology. This year’s edition will have the presence of Prof. Paulo Dias from Minho University, José Ortega Mohedano from SCOPEO, Salamanca University, and Prof. António Teixeira from the Open University and Vice-President of EDEN.


The 3rd e-Learning Conference at Futurália is focused on entrepreneurship with education technologies and intends to disseminate good e-learning practices in the context of a more creative learning culture where one collaborates to compete.
