On November 5, the institute of Medical Informatics of the Academic Medical Center (AMC) and the University of Amsterdam held its yearly conference. This year the main topic was the Health 2.0 concept.

During the event’s information fair, several companies showed their products’ capabilities to students, alumni and AMC collaborators.
ALERT was present with its Electronic Health Record (EHR) that is an institution-specific solution, and its citizen-oriented solutions: Personal Health Record (PHR) called MyALERT® and ALERT® Pollens – a mobile solution for Android and iPhone platforms which provides up-to-date and location specific details to hay fever patients. This combination of institution and citizen oriented solutions is precisely what Health 2.0 intends to emphasize.

Not surprisingly, the iPad demo of ALERT®’s EHR attracted great interest among participants.
