At the end of 2009, Dr. Eleuterio González University Hospital in Monterrey (Nuevo León state) adjudicated an international tender with ALERT Life Sciences Computing, S.A. to implement clinical software.

The hospital, which is part of the University of Nuevo León complex, has around 250 available beds and is a reference healthcare facility at a tertiary level. In this framework, it also processes the most critical and complex cases of the region.

Dr. Eleuterio González University Hospital is a facility with its very own idiosyncrasy in which the care provided to patients is combined with the teaching of medicine and clinical research.

ALERT® will improve the capacity and organization of the healthcare provided at this facility. It will also improve process control and contribute towards helping to standardize the employment of best clinical practices, at the same time as increasing patient safety. Currently undergoing implementation, this system has been getting a very positive reaction from end users who consider ALERT® to be a tool that will bring improvements to the clinical processes of the hospital.
