ALERT® PAPER FREE HOSPITAL is fully implemented at INCA's Cancer Hospital II in Brazil

ALERT® OUTAPATIENT went live on May 22, 2014 at the outpatient services of Cancer Hospital II (Hospital do Câncer II – HC II), a hospital unit that integrates the National Cancer Institute (Instituto Nacional do Câncer – INCA) in Brazil.

 

With this Go Live, all modules integrating ALERT® PAPER FREE HOSPITAL are now fully operational at this hospital unit.

 

HC II processes an average of 190 daily appointments in the following specialties: gynecology (around 90 appointments), bone and connective tissue (around 35 appointments), oncology (40 appointments on average) and nursing appointments (around 25 appointments).

 

HC II is one of the best equipped hospitals in the Brazilian national health services. With seven floors and 86 beds, HC II spreads over a 6 200 sq. m area and employs 490 people.

 

With over 70 years of activity, INCA is a Brazilian Health Ministry's body which develops and coordinates preventive and control actions on cancer. This institution's mission is to also provide care to patients diagnosed with the disease. For this purpose, the organization has various hospitals in Rio de Janeiro.
