ALERT® OUTPATIENT went live at Cancer Hospital I of INCA, Brazil

ALERT® OUTPATIENT went live in the ambulatory services of Cancer Hospital I (Hospital do Câncer I – HC I) of the National Cancer Institute (Instituto Nacional do Câncer – INCA) in Brazil.
 
This Go Live happened on November 9, 2015, in the Oncology and Thorax clinics of HC I, and the version installed was version 2.6.3.15 of ALERT®’s clinical software.
 
The ambulatory services of HC I have 33 clinics, and offer the services of teaching and resident physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary services of psychologists, social workers, nutritionists, pharmacists and physiotherapists.
 
HC I provides free hospital and medical assistance to cancer patients and serves as INCA’s head office and the Bone Marrow Transplant Center. This hospital has the capacity of 188 beds (including 10 Intensive Treatment Center beds) in an 11 floor building which occupies and area of 33 000 m².   
 
HC I is the largest INCA hospital and one of the best equipped hospitals of the Brazilian Ministry of Health. It also already works with the emergency, inpatient and operating room modules of the ALERT® suite of products.
