ALERT® OUTPATIENT upgrade at Instituto de Cardiología y Medicina Vascular

On February 13, 2012, ALERT® OUTPATIENT was upgraded to version v2. at the Cardiology and Vascular Medicine Institute (ICMV – Instituto de Cardiología y Medicina Vascular) in Monterrey, Mexico.


The Institute, situated in Monterrey – Nuevo León, Mexico, specializes in Cardiology and Vascular Medicine and provides top quality health care. It also carries out research and provides education, by transferring knowledge through conferences and congresses. Its activities are supported by state of the art technology and a team of top level clinical professionals, recognized as leaders in medical practice for their world-class services.


This Institute provides comprehensive ambulatory and inpatient care to a yearly average of ten thousand patients, and more than six thousand non-invasive procedures are performed there every year. The ICMV employs over 90 healthcare professionals, 40 of which are cardiologists with different subspecialties.


This Institute was the first in Mexico to implement ALERT®. It will soon move to the new Medical Centre Zambrano Hellion (CMZH), which will house nine institutes and a complete new hospital.
