CHBA (the Baixo Alentejo Hospital Complex) has just acquired a new software solution for its Outpatient Departments in the Jose Joaquim Fernandes Hospital, in Beja, and in the Sao Paulo Hospital, in Serpa.

ALERT® OUTP will integrate the set of ALERT® products that are currently being used in this Hospital Complex and in the region's Primary Care Centers (namely, the ALERT® EDIS, ALERT® UBU e ALERT® CARE). This will enable the integration in the patients' EHR (Electronic Health Record) of all clinical documentation produced in these Hospitals and in the Emergency Departments of the main healthcare centers in this region of Southern Portugal.

This project serves a population of 161,211 people from 14 districts. There is an estimate of ca 84.615 Outpatient episodes for 2008.
