ALERT just launched its most recent mobile device solution, ALERT® Home Visit.
Specially designed and developed for the Brazilian health system, ALERT® Home Visit will improve the day to day tasks of community health agents, by making their home visits to community members simpler. This new mobile device's solution enables community health agents to produce off-line on-site records during their home visits. The solution also integrates access to global search and maps with GPS coordinates. These functionalities enable professionals to spend less time filling out forms and will make data more reliable, data which will then be appropriately managed in order to avoid inconsistencies and duplication.
ALERT® Home Visit can also be synchronized with ALERT® SAIS Online (ALERT® CARE project in Brazil) by allowing information recorded on-site to be inserted in the customer's database, thus updating information in the electronic health record.
This new tool is already working at the FIOCRUZ Foundation, at the Manguinhos Municipal Healthcare Center and the Victor Valla Family Clinic primary health care units, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. These units cover an estimated population of 37 000 people.
