On January 14, 2014 ALERT® INPATIENT went live at the Urology Clinic of Cancer Hospital I – Clínica de Urologia do Hospital do Câncer I (HC I), in Brazil.

With around 35 monthly inpatient episodes and 8 available beds , Clínica de Urologia performs between 35 and 40 surgeries per month. ALERT®'s inpatient module will benefit 31 healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses and nurse technicians.

HC I is the largest healthcare facility of the National Cancer Institute – Instituto Nacional do Câncer (INCA), and one of the most well equipped hospitals of the Brazilian Ministry of Health. This 188-bed hospital provides diagnosis confirmation, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to cancer patients.

In addition to being the head office of INCA's Board of Directors and the Bone Marrow Transplant Center – Centro de Transplante de Medula Óssea, HC I also plays an important role in cancer research, as well as in organizing medical and nursing residency programs and specialization courses.

ALERT® INPATIENT also provides support to the Abdomen Clinic – Clínica do Abdómen, the Intensive Care Service – Cuidados de Tratamento Intensivo (CTI), and the Post-Operative Unit – Unidade Pós-operatória (UPO), of that hospital since October 2013.
