ALERT® INPATIENT went live on June 23, 2010, at São Lucas Hospital of the Santa Casa Group in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

A state-run hospital, São Lucas provides care to patients from private entities (both members and non-members of the Group). It opened in 1922 with the purpose of generating income and overcome the lack of resources felt in some of the Santa Casa's sectors. Increasingly more committed to the evolution of hospital technology and constantly improving its physical, technical and management conditions, São Lucas Hospital has a complex structure that includes: 104 beds, emergency services, operating rooms, intensive treatment center, intensive care unit and São Lucas Clinic for outpatient appointments and exams.

The installation and use of ALERT® INPATIENT are part of the implementation of ALERT® PAPER FREE HOSPITAL in the Santa Casa Group's units.
