On October 30, 2013, ALERT® INPATIENT went live at Clínica do Abdómen, at Cuidados de Tratamento Intensivo (CTI) and at Unidade Pós-operatória (UPO), which integrate Hospital do Câncer I (HC I), in Brazil.

These three HC I inpatient services amount to a total of 46 beds (27 at Clínica do Abdómen, 9 at UPO and 10 beds at CTI) and have an occupation rate of nearly 100%.

HC I is the National Cancer Institute's (INCA) largest healthcare facility and one of the most well equipped hospitals of the Brazilian Ministry of Health. This 188-bed hospital provides diagnosis confirmation, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to cancer patients.

In addition to being the head office of INCA's Board of Directors and the Bone Marrow Transplant Center, HC I also plays an important role in cancer research, as well as in organizing medical and nursing residency programs and specialization courses.

ALERT® ORIS already operates at the Surgery Center's services of this hospital since May 2013.
