ALERT® went live at the Emergency Department of the San Bortolo Hospital, in Vicenza, Italy. The system is currently being used for a few patients only in order for users to become familiar with the application.

As soon as work in the ED is complete, ALERT®'s use will be expanded to the General Medicine Inpatient Department of the San Bartolo Hospital, thus concluding the first phase of the project. The second phase will start with the complete computerization of all the remaining departments at San Bartolo and at a second hospital located in Noventa Vicentina.

This project is very important for ULSS6 and for the Veneto region, where the city of Vicenza is located.

Vicenza's hospital, a reference hospital for 300 thousand people, has around 1 000 beds and offers 40 outpatient specialties.

The contract celebrated with ULSS6 establishes the implementation of ALERT® PAPER FREE HOSPITAL in both healthcare facilities.
