ALERT® EHR v2.6.4 has been tested and certified under the Drummonds´s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. This Complete EHR is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

 

ALERT® EHR met the requirements for 2014 Edition Complete Ambulatory EHR Certification and Complete Inpatient EHR Certification.

ALERT® EHR requires a software license fee, implementation service fee and a recurring maintenance fee (monthly, quarterly or annual fee depending on Customer contract and preferences). Maintenance includes support and software upgrades. Healthcare organizations using ALERT® EHR agree to use the product in hospital contexts.

 
ALERT® EHR may also be delivered on a Software as a Service model, requiring a subscription fee and implementation costs. Subscription includes software usage, ALERT support and software upgrades.
 
This certified product-version requires:
- one-time or recurring costs (annual, quarterly or monthly, depending on Customer contract and preferences) to support the patient portal (170.314.e.1, 170.314.e.3);
- one-time costs to establish interfaces for reporting to immunization registries and public health agencies (170.314.f.2, 170.314.f.3) depending on Customer contract and preferences;
- transactional costs or recurring costs (annual, quarterly or monthly, depending on Customer contract and preferences) for transitions of care summaries (170.314.b.1), which must be assessed with each Customer based on their specific communication needs;
- an internet connection. Any healthcare organization that wishes to connect with ALERT® must comply with the same standards met by ALERT® or those specified by ONC for this particular use/product. In order to meet the ONC requirements for certification ALERT® cannot deviate from this standard.
