ALERT® EDIS went live at the Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Montes Claros Hospital, Brazil

ALERT® EDIS, an Emergency Department management software, went live on March 23, 2010 at the Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Montes Claros Hospital.

This facility's Emergency Department is the main emergency unit in the northern area of Minas Gerais and sees an average of 230 patients per day.

The ALERT® EDIS implementation project involved analysis, integration and parameterization. Facility professionals, such as physicians, nurses, ancillaries, registrars and nursing technicians, as well as imaging and laboratory technicians were trained on how to use ALERT®.

The installation and use of ALERT® EDIS are part of the computerization of the Emergency Services of the Minais Gerais Secretary of State for Health project. It will allow for faster and improved statewide services.
