On April 2, 2009, ALERT® EDIS went live at Odilon Behrens Hospital in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

As part of the Minas Gerais Secretary of State for Health implementation project, 790 professionals were trained, over a two-month period, with the aim to support 15 different specialties available to the population at that hospital.

ALERT® EDIS enables hospitals to document, review and integrate all clinical information for Emergency Department episodes, and promotes the elimination of clinical information on paper.

Odilon Behrens Hospital is located in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and handles a daily average of 500 emergency episodes.
