ALERT® EDIS went live at João XXIII Hospital, which offers the most important emergency services in Belo Horizonte, capital of the State of Minas Gerais in Brazil.

ALERT® EDIS implementation follows that of ALERT® MANCHESTER, completing the hospital's emergency services computerization. Serving a metropolitan area of over 4 000 000 inhabitants, the emergency services of João XXIII Hospital are of great importance. From now on, this hospital will electronically document and follow-up the records of over 500 daily emergency episodes.

This was the first ALERT® EDIS Go Live in Brazil, which integrates a project for the State of Minas Gerais, which project contemplates the computerization of 19 emergency departments.
