ALERT® EDIS went live at Clemente de Faria University Hospital, Brazil

On March 26, 2009 ALERT® EDIS went live at Clemente de Faria University Hospital in Minas Gerais, Brazil. By the end of this process, the Emergency Department will be operating in a totally paper-free environment. 


Clemente de Faria University Hospital has been using ALERT® MANCHESTER since October 03, 2008, for patient triage in its Emergency Department. This department also uses ALERT® to register its patients. 


This hospital is located in the North of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and handles an average of 5 000 emergency episodes per month. The Government supports this service through a Unique Health System program. 


Moreover, as part of the Minas Gerais' Secretary of State for Health implementation project, ALERT® EDIS will go live at Odilon Behrens Hospital on March 31, 2009.
