ALERT® EDIS went live at Aroldo Tourinho Hospital, Brazil

ALERT ®EDIS, a solution for the management of Emergency Services, went live on June 23, 2009, at Aroldo Tourinho Hospital (HAT), in Montes Claros, Brazil.
 

Considered as being a reference hospital, HAT currently serves over 100 local authorities in the North of Minas Gerais and South of Bahia, covering a population of around 1.5 million people. HAT's Emergency Services integrate 9 specialties and processes an average of 6 000 emergency episodes every month.
 

Over 215 professionals received training in ALERT® during the implementation process.
 

The computerization of HAT is part of the Minas Gerais Secretary of State for Health's implementation project, which aims at improving the quality of Emergency Services in the whole state of Minas Gerais.
