The brand new Sabah Al-Ahmad Urology Centre in Kuwait will be the first hospital in the Middle East to use ALERT®.

This urology center was inaugurated on February 4, 2013, under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The modern-style building took 10 months to be completed and is shaped like a kidney.

The hospital has a total of nine floors, which include outpatient departments, specialized clinics, operating rooms, intensive care units and recovery rooms. According to the Health Minister, Dr. Mohammad Al-Haifi, the center is fully equipped with the latest medical technologies to provide the best medical services to its patients.

ALERT® PFH and ALERT® PDMS were the facility’s choices for its EMR and will become the first ALERT® products to be implemented in the Middle East.

This contract embodies Advanced Technology Company’s first success as an ALERT partner. ALERT and Advanced Technology Company signed a contract in July 2012 for the exclusive distribution of the ALERT® solutions in Kuwait.

The implementation of ALERT® products in the Sabah Al-Ahmad Urology Centre opens a new window of opportunities for the establishment of ALERT® products in the Middle East.
