ALERT is proud to announce that its ALERT® CARE solution was selected by six different cities in Brazil to computerize their primary care services.

The cities of Linhares, Patrocínio and Campo Grande are already undergoing the complete computerization of their primary care facilities by implementing ALERT® software. Part of the population from Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Juiz de Fora will also benefit from ALERT® systems for primary care.

The Brazilian public health policy enables the financing of projects that promote a higher use of technology within primary care. Brazil's Family Health Program is therefore being developed with different IT resources, electronic health records, PDAs and other public management support systems.

With six new contracts in four of the country's states, around 1.5 million people will benefit from ALERT® systems, which will lead to more and better information regarding patients, as well as to informed clinical decision making.
