ALERT’s paper accepted for Scientific Program at XVI Congress of International Federation of Health Records Organizations

The abstract “An Integrated Strategy for ‘Intelligent’ Clinical Applications” by ALERT’s Hélder Quintela, Business Intelligence Executive Manager, and Ricardo Cabral, Head of Conceptualization and Functional Analysis, was accepted and will be presented as part of the Scientific Program at the XVI Congress of International Federation of Health Records Organizations (IFHRO Congresses), which will take place between November 15-19, 2010, in Milan, Italy.


The IFHRO Congresses are organized every three years in different countries around the world, and this is the first time that this type of event is held in Italy. It is a great opportunity to share experiences with professionals at an international level, and to understand the current state of affairs of healthcare applications worldwide.


In the 2010 edition of the Congress – “Better Information for Better Health” – the following subjects will be of relevant importance: Health Information Management and Patient Safety; Electronic Health Records, Electronic Medical Records, Patient Health Records; Privacy and Security; Health Information Management and Scientific Research; Management and Integration of Care; Monitoring and Evaluation of Health; Classification Systems, Clinical Coding and Data Quality; Management and Quality of Medical Records.
