ALERT was, once again, present at the Annual Scientific Assembly, organized by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), which this year took place in Boston on October 5-8, 2009.

ACEP is the largest and oldest medical specialty organization of the United States. Founded in 1968, ACEP currently has around 27 000 members.

This assembly had the participation of physicians, nurses, medical students, medical unit directors, hospital directors and medical service suppliers.

ALERT was represented by a team of specialists who attended the assembly with version 2.5 of ALERT® EDIS.

As usual in this type of setting, ALERT® captivated medical professionals with its attractive interface, workflow concept integration and touchscreen technology.

ALERT's presence in America goes back to March 2006 when ALERT Life Sciences Computing, Inc. was created to work on the distribution and implementation of ALERT® in the United States and Canada.
